Everest Season

So the Everest season is underway, most teams are already heading into Basecamp and by all accounts the ropes are fixed to camp 2.

So why am I still in Europe, well thats a very good question.....mainly one of funding, but as of Tuesday evening, the funds became avalaible and the whole thing is on!!!!!   We leave on Monday night!!!

Its a really low key trip this one, well it is to start with anyway, just myself and a cameraman, but when we get to the top we are hoping for some serious fireworks.........

I'm not going to steal the thunder of the Sponsor by saying who they are here just yet but a HUGE thanks to all the efforts a few people have put in so far, you know who you are........

Kit is arriving by the box load, even though I have most of it in storage in Kathmandu already...not sure how that is working out.

Even after 8 ascents I feel like a little kid again...very excited!!!!
