Our rock climbing courses in Finale are a perfect long weekend break for the budding sport climber. Literally hundreds of crags set in the beautiful Italian riviera coastline. Sun, sea and rock climbing - the perfect combination.

We focus on single pitch (bolt protected) sport climbing where climbers of different standards can happily climb routes at the same crag.

Our experienced Rock Guides will make sure you get the most out of the weekend break. They will take you to the best crags with the most appropriate choice of routes, provide technique & performance coaching and teach good safety practices.

About Finale Liguria

Finale is a small, very pretty coastal town. Its narrow cobbled streets and friendly locals provide a real charm. The many beach front cafes and restaurants make great places to relax and watch the sunset after a day's rock climbiing.

There are excellent limestone rock climbs from french 5+  and harder in a fantastic setting.

Itinerary

Thursday:  Arrive at Finale and meet at the hotel in the evening.

Friday - Sunday:  3 days of rock climbing followed by a relaxing drink and a dip in the Med!

Sunday evening: Departure and flight home.

Equipment

We provide ropes and quick draws. You should bring your own harnesses and rock shoes, but feel free to bring your favourite (lucky?) quick draws or rope with you too. Finale has a good climbing shop if you want to buy any climbing equipment, clothing, chalk and so on.

Getting to Finale Liguria

Nice or Genoa are the nearest airports, being about an hour and a quarter drive from Finale along the coastal motorway. Hiring a car is the best option. Get in touch when you organise your flights and we will help coordinate the group to make use of sharing hire cars.
