Sardinia Rock Climbing Week
Our rock climbing courses in Sardinia are a perfect week for rock climbers looking for a sunny holiday destination with stacks of good climbing. Literally hundreds of crags set in the beautiful Mediterranean. Sun, sea and rock climbing - the perfect combination.
We focus on single pitch (bolt protected) sport climbing, multi pitch sport climbs and some trad climbing (if desired).
Who is it for?
- Intermediate climbers wanting to learn multi-pitch skills or trad techniques
- Indoor climbers - ideal for progressing to outdoor sport climbing
- Sport climbing junkies - push your grade!
Our experienced Rock Guides will make sure you get the most out of the week. They will take you to the best crags with the most appropriate choice of routes, provide technique & performance coaching and teach good safety practices. Our low ratio guiding means close supervision and safe teaching of trad and multi-pitch climbing.
Sardinia has all sorts of climbing. Single pitch, beachside crags; inland multi pitch and trad crags; sea cliffs. Its pleasant mediterranean climate and great views make it a perfect destination for a climbing holiday and its scope of climbing means we can teach all aspects of rock climbing.
Cala Ganone is a small coastal holiday resort with a number of restaurants and bars and a nearby beach (great after a tough day on the crag!).
Saturday: Arrive at Olbia where we meet and drive to Cala Ganone to settle into our accommodation.
Sunday - Friday: Rock climbing followed by a relaxing drink and a dip in the Med! We visit a number of different crags to suit your climbing style and ambitions. (5 days guided, 1 free day)
Saturday: Departure and flight home.
We provide ropes and quick draws. You should bring your own harnesses and rock shoes, but feel free to bring your favourite (lucky?) quick draws or rope with you too.
Getting to Sardinia
Flying to Olbia is the best option (or a ferry from the mainland). We meet you at the airport before driving to our accommodation in Cala Ganone.
