Private Ski Guiding

Much of our work throughout the year is for private groups or individuals. Some want full blown private holidays, others are after a few days private ski guiding to find the best snow and descents in the area. Whatever ski adventures you have in mind, we can organise it for you! Our Guides have a huge breadth and depth of knowledge of skiing all over the Alps and further afield. With our alpine base in Chamonix, we have lots of experience throughout France and Switzerland.

Why hire a Ski Guide?

Our IFMGA Ski and Mountain Guides are at the top of their game.

They are experts in finding the best snow on the best descents.

They will minimise the risks of skiing off-piste and in the backcountry.

They can educate you in best practices for staying safe when skiing in the mountains.

Skiers who use our Guides usually say they did far more, far better skiing than they ever thought possible - especially when weather/conditions are seemingly desperate!

Why use Private Guiding?

You will ski more of the best skiing available and really discover the potential of the area...

Perhaps the dates of our courses don't suit you...

Maybe you have a specific goal in mind...

Perhaps you would prefer a ski tour or a course for just you and your friends...

Maybe you want a specific Guide?

Where do we Ski Guide?

Our base is Chamonix, but we frequently guide in Zinal, la Grave, 3 vallees, les Arcs, Courmayeur and Verbier. Both resort accessed off-piste and also ski touring in all these regions.

How much does it cost?

We base our prices around the Guiding fee which starts at £340 per day, but varies according to the objective and group size. We then build in any other services you require, such as accommodation, uplifts, airport transfers, mountain huts and so on.

Price (course only): £340
Approx: €466.61 / $523.28
Ability level: Intermediate
I am an off piste skier with varying success and have skied at least 1-2 weeks predominantly off piste. I can link, without traversing, at least 5 – 10 turns together with reasonable control, style and speed, down the fall line, in most snow types. Deep/heavy snow and crust are still a problem. I usually don’t fall unless the snow is very heavy/deep or crusty. I may not like icy slopes but can ski them in control.
Fitness Level: A
I can ski all day from first lift, only taking short breaks every so often. I can ski about 4000+m per day. I could hike up to an hour most days at a slow pace. I exercise once or twice a week for an hour or so, either a brisk walk or gentle run or something similar.
