Intermediate off-piste clinics are aimed at those who are happy skiing most slopes on-piste, are keen to venture off-piste and are looking for a week of skiing, coaching and instruction to discover the art of skiing all snow and any snow. All this while skiing the best lift served off-piste Chamonix has to offer. A 5 day blend of skiing in the best locations with instruction/coaching from a guide and a BASI ski instructer. details Off-piste perfection clinics are run on the same basis. 5 days of lift served offpiste and steeps, with coaching and instruction along the way from a guide and a BASI ski instructer. Backcountry Taster Weekends 3 days of the best backcountry skiing and a great introduction to, or brush up on your ski touring and safety skills - avalanche awareness, glacier skiing and crevasse rescue. Runs Thursday night to Sunday night. details Backcountry intro weeks are for those who want to venture further into the mountains and further from the crowds to find the best snow. During this five day course you will learn how to 'skin' up hills, learn about avalanche awareness, using a transciever, glacier skiing, crevasse rescue and discover the wonders of backcountry skiing. All this while skiing the best backcountry around! There will be a blend of lift served off-piste and backcountry descents that require some leg work (upto 2 hours uphill). A day heliskiing is often the highlight! details Backcountry adventure weeks are for intermediate to good off-piste skiers who want to make the most of Chamonix's backcountry. We spend 5 days using a combination of cablecars, ski lifts, skinning, bootpacking and heliskiing to get the best descents with the best snow...We will be skiing on glaciers, powderfields and couloirs. Along the way we will teach you any extra skills you need and build on your backcountry knowledge. Ideally suited to those who have done a 'Backcountry Intro'. details Backcountry extreme weeks are for expert skiers who are happy on 45 degree slopes and are looking for a high octane week of backcountry steeps, powder and couloirs.
