Venues in easy reach of Chamonix include the Arve and Giffre valleys, the Aosta valley (Italy) and Chamonix itself. Venues such as Sardinia and Corsica are best in the autumn. Custom guided rock climbing is available from May through the autumn. The best ratios for rock climbing are 1:1 or 1:2, however larger ratios can also work at an intro level.
