Our select tours are chosen for their great skiing, high mountain experience and good mountain huts (more comfortable than it sounds!). Bernese Oberland - Switzerland This is an advanced 6 day tour for those who have been touring before. We are in high mountain glaciated terrain, overnighting in basic but comfortable mountain huts on a half board basis. Everyday involves 4-6 hours uphill, but promises the most impressive peaks and best descents in the Oberland. details Gran Paradiso - Italy This is an intro/intermediate tour ideal for those who have done a Backcountry week with us, or some day touring. The Gran Paradiso day is long (5 hours up) but the others are more manageable (2-4 hours up). Everyday involves superb ski descents and impressive views. We spend 3 nights in basic but comfortable mountain huts, with a hotel night in the middle. The first half of the week is nonglaciated, which keeps our packs lighter. details Classic Haute Route - Chamonix to Zermatt The most famous ski tour in the world! A fantastic journey through the Alps, with long uphills and descents and stunning views... We spend six days in the mountains, overnighting in mountain huts.
